I Met a Girl

  I met a girl who was close to home,
  

  it sure beats being alone.
  

  
  

  I stayed with the girl and she bought me clothes,
  

  she dressed me up in hippy things and made me think idyllically. 
  

  
  

  I lived with the girl and I cooked and cleaned,
  

  I pondered on the meaning of the meat that I was eating,
  

  years and years of bleeding from the thoughtlessness of feeding,
